Africa Online Continuous Emission Monitoring System (AOCEMS)

AOCEMS is an integrated IOT infrastructure developed by UPS with the core aim of monitoring emissions in air and water to ensure verifiable compliance to environmental and climate protection policies.

Hence, becoming a catalyst for achieving the goal to limit global warming to well below 2, preferably to 1.5 degrees Celsius, compared to pre-industrial levels which will Stage effective emission compliance schemes for industries, reducing traditional regulation costs.

AU EMISSION TRADING SCHEME (AUETS)

UPS proposes the creation and institutionalization of the African Union EMISSION TRADING SCHEME(AUETS) as a central pillar of the African Union to combat climate change and its key tool for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

This will exist as a major competitor in the worlds carbon market;

Hence, limit emission rates through emission caps and allowances, ensure monitoring , reporting and verification of industry emission.

Electric Mobility Solutions

The positive future is green electric mobility. UPS in partner ship with Multi-Industry Group, Senegal are developing electric mobility transport solutions having setup a RnD laboratory in Senegal for development on new technologies and IOT development in the domain of electric vehicles(EV).
